Almost Spring

house plants FL 026

.

Recycling:

Just as

Mother Earth

compost the dead

so that the new

seed can be

nourished,

the soul of

all living things

enjoys the rebirth

which is the

advent of spring.

.

Haiku:

Happiness abounds

Joy blooms with the first crocus

Mother Earth reborn

.

Elfje:

Excited

Earth tilts

Toward the Sun

Spring is almost sprung

Rebirth

.

POEM :  Equinox

When the celestial equator intersects the ecliptic

Six weeks have passed the groundhog’s shadow

The men with the top hats complicate the simplistic

Old wives tales that only the gullible can swallow

How awesome the creation of this phenomenon

Sun and earth as a part of the galaxies ballet

We take for granted that which is so common

The sun will rise and set today  …

Your poems today make me smile… And do you take the flower photos? They are always lovely. I would enjoy just the name of the flower as a caption, if it doesn’t distract from the visual effect you seek.

All flower pictures are mine… (10,000 plus)
mostly from our lanai here in Florida…
some borrowed from neighbors gardens …
or found in a park or along side of the road …
When I know the name I’ll include it in the post …
Love whimsy … too much poetry is morose and sad …
Hugs and blessings … ME and the Boss

Thanks, and variety doesn’t matter if you don’t know. I was just thinking that I might find something I want to plant. I look forward to your posts.
