A Particle Of Life

.

“There is not

a particle of life

which does not bear

poetry within it”

.

~ Gustave Flaubert

.

Elfje

.

poetry

atoms moving

seen or unseen

noise, music, heard, unheard

Creation

.

Haiku

.

the seasons rhythm

a cadence of sights and sounds

creations poem

.

Poem

.

sounds used to convey a thought

man uses his words to converse

ideas which cannot be taught

understanding is always diverse

.

the writer calls it poetry

the reader has his opinion

does it rhyme or is it free

whose interpretation has dominion

.

poems are written to fill a void

how to describe ones ivory castle

sounds and ideas are then employed

from head to heart they travel

.

like the rhythm of the universe

a good poem never ends

time and space they do traverse

languages and cultures it transcends

.

a poem exist in every particle of life

every breath and every idea

the writer but a midwife

always seeking the ideal panacea

.

today this castle is made of sand

awaiting the tide to come in

written with a story unplanned

hoping above hope to win

.

your point of view, my sentiment

how important is it and this too shall pass

knowing all who read this and every poem will benefit

allowing everyone to see through the looking glass

.

ME and the Boss
