where is the fine line of sanity
or is insane not a place at all
not me, invisibly cloaked in vanity
delusions acerbated by alcohol
did I drink too much and became crazy
or was I crazy and I drank too much
could have done different but was too lazy
should have but I really needed a crutch
would have but I ignored my mother
make amends, clear the wreckage
learn to rely upon a Higher Power
be prepared to carry the recovery message
a simple program for complicated people
how we were restored to sane thinking
