directions from above
kindness grows in a thankful heart
where serenity and peace have their start

open minds allow love to blossom
to share one’s self is totally awesome
at birth the soul is pure we trust
all we need to fly is some fairy dust

they say that a child will show them how
with unconditional love in the here and now
the best inherited from the family tree
love, we know, must always be free

love can never be duplicitous
faith begins with willingness
a generous heart bound with filigree
promises made with a guarantee

with an olive branch from a dove
