from recovery to discovery,
oh what a fucked up world this is
entertainment is flaunting adultery
for the ignorant who live a life vicariously
the fake news , kowtowing to their sponsors
the stupid choosing sides without knowing
the enemy are fictitious boogie monsters
the lame killed by a gun that was never smoking
everyone’s guilty until proven innocent
the band wagon filled with all the me too’s
decent respect gives way to the insolent
politics the least of two evils to choose
the rich get richer, the poor get poorer
as we all get older
even the hindsight fails to become clearer
as the objectionist become so much bolder
no one has a better plan
the selfish refuse to read the history
can we blame it on the Kennedy Klan
or was it the Clinton Deep State mystery
my twilight years do not need all this confusion
I chose both roads and it got me nowhere
can or must I believe that it is just a delusion
