Today’s Word

“For last year’s words

belong to

last year’s language

And next year’s words

await another voice.”

~ T.S. Eliot

Elfje:         (Cinquain)

man’s refuse

unneeded and unwanted

a treasure for nobody

Lune:    5 / 3 / 5

listen everyone

pending storm

very quiet night

Poem:     sonnet: the weather

thunder rolls past every afternoon
daily showers bring humidity
gulf winds bring in the monsoon
stifling weather breeds stupidity

lightning kills more than all other storms
It never rains on a golf course
best time to dig for fishing worms
rain cannot wash away remorse

weather the topic, safe to discuss
accept what it is without making a fuss
some like it  cool, some like it hot
easy, just move to your ideal spot

change is the only thing you can expect
without having to be politically correct
