A Word is Dead

.

“A word is dead

When it is said,

Some say.

I say it just

Begins to live

That day.”

.

― Emily Dickinson

Elfje:

Poem:

.

I had a thought
the idea had words
I remember naught
thinking is for the birds

no need to be distraught
just keep on trying to opine
no tears for what we forgot
dead words on a line

this lyric is the best I could allow
eventually this moment will pass
how important was it anyhow
was I expecting only first class

expressions live on when they echo the truth
laughter is the most positive language
happiness is the fountain of youth
a big vocabulary gives one an advantage

even the coin has two sides
too bad  the point was missed
the news comes and goes with the tides
dead or alive the word still exist

ME and the Boss
