can we treat life like a child’s game
are you a color or are you a bouquet
is there really something in a name

the clouds diminished into rainbows
the seasons came and went
clover in all colors covers the meadows
in nature nothing is ever spent

so many questions and so few answers
discovered today, obsolete tomorrow
does love motivate flamenco dancers
can eyes wide open see a peep show

why does everything have an opposite
will good possibly overcome evil
could hate or love predominate
shall man ever learn to be civil

if we had the answers
would it matter anyways
everything succumbs to cancers
does God count in days

is this life to be enjoyed ? ? ?
if so, ignore the answers and questions
know that the end we cannot avoid
and just follow mothers directions
