natures ebb and flow

Poem:

choices: up or down
is it a smile or a frown
a positive attitude of gratitude
or is it just a swing of the mood

do others push your buttons
feelings extracted with a summons
is the mind attached to the emotion
can the view be swayed by a magic potion

is the Pollyanna being realistic
must you always consult a mystic
can we overthink every decision
are your instincts in collision

it’s time: push has come to shove
can you suggest an alternative
