“It was only a sunny smile,
and little it cost in the giving,
but like morning light
it scattered the night
and made the day
worth living.”

unraveling mystery
count only the facts
it was not a fairy tale
no trolls or ogres involved

to write a ditty
you must be witty
sarcasm is not included in the flow
crazy should come from the elbow
to be a wit you should never submit
but to others wit you should admit
when in doubt just write the pun
you will find that it is so much fun
so when your words begin to fail
just go to the local rummage sale

twinkle, twinkle little star
nursery rhymes written from afar
how I wonder what you are
whose hand was caught in the cookie jar
star light star bright
does heaven only come out at night
can all of my wishes come true tonight
simple pleasures our souls delight
hickory dickory dock
everyone ran from the mouse in the clock
so glad the rodents don’t come in a flock
we’d cut off their tails with a tomahawk
Old King Cole was a merry old soul
got lost while out taking an evening stroll
wonder if he knew about the black hole
time out, snack time, chinese spring roll
And now poor Simple Simon bids you all “Adieu”
he’d come to get you but there is a hole in his canoe
we’ll end this little ditty with a happy thank you
and looking forward to seeing you’ll at (in) the zoo
my pleasure
