“To delight
the ear and the eye
is a mere sensual
indulgence;
—true poetry
strikes at the soul.”

Haiku:

beautiful evening
inspiration from above
nature adores praise

Poem:
.
Quiet the noisy mind
Have it in your heart to be kind
Seek serenity for your soul
Make peace of mind your only goal
Learn to love all and include yourself
Find tranquility in and of itself
For others be patient and tolerant
Of wants or needs be cognizant
For those who have no clue be forgiving
The Creator has a purpose for all of the living
And when your day is done let everyone agree
I was the person my God wanted me to be

twilight
in camouflage
concealed in color
birds chirp evening psalms
invisible

Haiku:

blizzard of brightness
an invisible world
a winter white out

Poem:
love lost, love gained
the backbone of music and verse
life’s tribulations to be explained
emotions usually hid in a closet
songs vicariously used to emote
seeking a ride on a fantasy rocket
love yourself, love others
some preach unconditional love
the best love comes from Mothers
when one is feeling down and small
it is best to remember
God loves us all
