there is this place I call never-the-less
to all of my friends I give free access
the place is filled with excuses galore
who could wish for anything more
the place is a series of rooms, nooks and crannies
there is an cool pond to keep fire from the fannies
there is a looking glass that can see future trouble
it has yet to learn how to pick the daily double
make yourself fit using the many trick mirrors
there are free warm hugs when you get the shivers
the ceiling is made from the trees of knowledge and life
a picture of Heavens peace when man gives up strife
come visit, we’ll have lunch and go exploring
we’ll make a plan for man his faith restoring
regardless, at any rate, we can all be the critic
all the same, in any event, I’ll be there in spirit
never-the-less, we can all do it anyhow, God willing
never-the-less, we’ll never do it anyway, fates fulfilling

bugs rule the world
waiting for the bug man
the eco system to be imperiled
we know it is just another scam
the roach can survive a nuclear attack
live three days without it’s head
can see where its going in the pitch black
they will be here long after man is dead
the best bugs give us silk and honey
mosquitoes and fire ants the biggest pest
centipedes give us a run for our money
their goal is the whole wide world to infest
certain aboriginals do the larva eat
some pay good money for chocolate covered ants
I’m not quite certain I’d call them a treat
I will not go out of my way to give them a chance
no itching or scratching
it only makes things worse
just think of the millions now hatching
believe, Nature’s plan is not a curse
protect all life (maybe) as holy
and it is still fine to feed the fish
to eliminate the moths who make us holey
believe me, my favorite sound is still …. squish
