disorder is the work of an evil spirit
ugly has no bounds or limit
souls that believe they have something to prove
statues and memorials they want to remove

destroying a government is anarchy
believing there is no need for a moral code, insanity
yet the majority are afraid of the minority
defund the police, let’s give evil the authority

the press divides when they take sides
a few wealthy trying to push the tides
there is no need to apologize
peace allows everyone to share the prize

let’s use that energy to make an improvement
let the teaching of history define our movement
let God be the definition of pure order
maybe tomorrow, within our border

when does infatuation become love
does love mature as we grow older
questions answered when push comes to shove
true love is in the heart of the beholder

the poet uses love as a subject because
love can be whatever the poet wants it to be
for many ailments love is the probable cause
always and ever, to be true love it must be free

the heart knows the difference between love and like
love is different things to different people
love does not travel well on a high speed turnpike
life is love in one long continuous sequel

healthy relations use the same definition of love
the happiest use a guidance from above
