it can make every darkness bright
a kindness can make everything right
it will make sorrow take flight
being patient is being polite
it puts frustration in a highlight
tolerance is to never get uptight
it means to give up the fight
forgiveness is to erase the board outright
history always belongs in hindsight
love is the ultimate in delight
it keeps the reason for living in sight

love consumes all things
try to do His will

that contains 10 lines of eight syllables.
The style has a rhyming pattern of abbaaccddc.
You (as I have done here) can break the stanza up in abba/accd/dc.

the music begins quietly
the beat is measured and steady
the dancers are poised and ready
their steps are made so silently
every move made decisively
all builds to a loud crescendo
no hint of an innuendo
a quadrille for merry lancers
smiles, laughter for band and dancers
finally a decrescendo
