Will Soon Be

“My thoughts,

I think,

will soon be sound.

My mind,

I hope,

will soon be found.”

Poem:

.

the gentle flower succumbs to the violent storm
the egomaniac orchestrates a horrible holocaust
God and man their wills to perform
self satisfaction sought at any cost

in God’s universe evolution cures all ills
man’s world requires some recapitulation
while many succumb to the need for pills
imagine a world with only one nation

too many questions, never enough answers
will the truth be something different tomorrow
will the soul submit to cancers
is there some time that we may borrow

today let’s choose to be positive
every day is a good day to be happy
have faith that anything is possible
that the cure for everything will be chocolate candy

gratitude that you have the time to share some love
aware that your blessings come from above
