He went, He left
He went to the left
Short drive to crazy
Something about being lazy

Some souls kept him sane
Others would derail his train
The middle of the road was his problem
Balance distracted by an evil goblin

a teenager, not yet a person
like dad, like mom, a newer version
as usual a roller coaster of emotions
faithful to his daily devotions

he grew physical and mental
an amusing life, nothing monumental
something comfortable about being average
a life of no stress, no need for much courage

he, like many, found success
generation after generation, progress
except, the average has moved down the scale
rich get richer, the poor tend to fail

his life, a strong foundation
to the next generation a donation
