seeking the golden sunshine

welcoming the day

 

he craned his long neck

searching for his beloved

her golden tresses

 

they met with a kiss

seeking the golden sunshine

they longed for pure  love

 

with true hearts of gold

their love increased with the dawn

welcoming the day
