darkness will cover
the lust of my cold black heart
self satisfaction

my cheeks blushing red color
my cacoethes

knowing lust not love
we cool to reality
but not passions heat

* A creative alteration of the original Troiku form.
In this form the first stanza shares the first line of the origina haiku.
The second line is the middle line of the second stanza.
The third line is the last line in the last section.

I can see it takes an extra bit of effort and planning and probably rewriting to produce in this form. In my own case in the rare times I do poetry in most poems I try to have the same syllabic count in each line.
