Poem:

twas dark and dreary all hallows eve
not a night for the naïve
the ghost and goblins were lurking behind every tree
the fog crept in so you could hardly see

the believers dressed in scary garb
homes of the dead we are not to disturb
trick or treat was invented by the candy makers
dentist agreed but not the Quakers

the walking dead came out of the swamp
on the living they love to chomp
God bless the parents with a child on a sugar high
and may your tomorrow be greeted by a bright blue sky

so say a prayer that the dead may rest in peace
call the ghost busters, not the police
